Villa Tasca

Villa Tasca

A noble neoclassical 16th century palace with romantic Sicilian garden

Villa Tasca, Palermo’s largest and most private residence, is an architectural masterpiece that is representative of Sicilian luxury and antique artwork. Guests who wish to get a taste of the Italian “La Dolce Vita” surrounded by pastoral frescoes, collectible antiques and a 20-acre park with Victorian-era romantic gardens should look no further.

This historic, noble property immersed in a botanical paradise enticed King Ferdinand IV, Queen Caroline, and Jackie Kennedy to the villa. Wagner, the composer, even completed the opera Parsifal during his stay at Villa Tasca.

The estate has a privileged location, situated on the road between Palermo and Monreale, though guests can still enjoy the tranquillity of a natural oasis.

Outdoors, the estate features eight hectares of parkland, and a Romantic garden of more than one hectare. The park features a large ornamental fountain surrounded by aquatic plants, potted plants, and a selection of hedges, shrubs, palms and more, for a natural garden space. The centrepiece is the artificial lake, where guests can take a refreshing dip.

The English-inspired Romantic garden is made up of three areas – the Swan Lake and surroundings, the Artificial Hill, and the Acclimation Garden – each with their own unique character from sculptures, water features and plant life.

These beautiful open spaces and the villa’s large terraces and patios provide the ideal venue for celebrating weddings and other special events.

The vast interiors offer guests a living environment that epitomises class, elegance and luxurious comfort. There are several luxurious rooms where guests can unwind such as the Piano Nobile room – decorated with magnificent frescoes and vaulted ceilings, the reading room, the private reception room, and the billiards room.

Villa Tasca features four bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities; two large Executive Suites – one with a double bed and one with a double plus a French bed, and two Junior Suites with double beds.

Guests have a unique experience at Villa Tasca, where cooking, culture and history can be combined and enjoyed.
