A charming Renaissance property in the heart of the Tuscan hills.

Located just outside of Florence, in the heart of Tuscany, Villa I Busini – a Peruzzi de Medici Estate – is a Renaissance-era property with spectacular grounds spreading over 40 hectares. Guests can wander through the lush forests, olive groves and vineyards, or explore the enchanting Renaissance gardens dotted with ornate fountains and statues.

A beautiful infinity pool – hand-built from Tuscan stone – is perfect for a midday dip, whilst the various terraces, with spectacular views of the estate’s grounds and beyond, provide the perfect spaces to soak up the Tuscan sun and enjoy al fresco meals.

Just steps from the villa is a pretty Limonaia, ideal for small events, whilst the 30 square-metre Conventino has been transformed into a gym, offering free weights and state-of-the-art Technogym equipment.

The Diana Temple, sitting at the end of a cypress-lined path, is perfect for an intimate ceremony or private meditation session, and there is a beautiful on-site chapel for those looking for a romantic setting in which to say their vows.

Dating as far back as the early 15th century, the villa itself has been meticulously restored. It features Renaissance architecture, ornate décor, stone fireplaces, stained-glass windows, and Florentine frescoes, combined with luxurious modern comforts throughout. There are multiple living spaces including five salons, two dining rooms, and a beautiful library.

The Portrait Salon is the largest of living spaces, featuring a custom s-shaped sofa, a period fireplace and a beautiful frescoed ceiling. The adjacent Marble Salon is perfect for intimate dinner parties, seating up to 14 and featuring a corner bar and direct terrace access, whilst the Sacristy Room is perfect for entertaining younger guests as it’s the only room in the building with a television. The Medici Salon boasts oversized armchairs overlooking an elaborate stone fireplace, whilst the Tower – lined with plush cushions – offers a secluded place to relax and take in the views.

The villa also offers a Coat of Arms Hall, an atrium with an impressive glass-domed ceiling, a first-floor loggia, a family dining room, and a historic family kitchen, as well as a separate, professional chef’s kitchen.

Up to 14 guests can be accommodated in the seven guest rooms and suites. Many of the suites offer private living rooms, and all feature en-suite facilities, most with luxurious bathtubs.

For those looking to host an intimate wedding or special event, or simply escape to the Tuscan countryside with loved ones, Villa I Busini is the perfect location to create lifelong memories.
