Largest ski resort in the Alps for winter holidays
Known as the largest ski resort in Switzerland and also as the highest city in Europe at a 1560 m altitude, Davos is a top ski holiday destination with an international appeal. It is also the biggest resort found in the Alps famous for its modern Conference Centre, where the World Economic Forum is hosted almost every year. In Davos you can find five different skiing areas: the largest is Parseen with pistes for all difficulty levels, the longest downhill run popular for its snowboarding – Jakobshorn, Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn. All are family-friendly destinations.
In conjunction with the nearby town of Klosters, Davos is not only one of the best winter destinations due to the large variety of sports activities, but also a great choice for warmer seasons. It has gorgeous summer hiking trails to marvel at the grandeur of the Alpine scenery.
