A deluxe, exclusive safari house in the Waterberg Mountains
Leobo Private Reserve is set on a stunning 20,000-acre estate located in the Waterberg Mountains of South Africa. This genuine safari house in the wilderness showcases amazing architectural assets and is perfect for family or friend gatherings.
Guests benefit from complete privacy of 20,000 acres and will fall in love with the unique and wild atmosphere of the place. The property showcases award-winning architecture and design, endless activities that will blow your mind, and supreme hosting.
Offering breath-taking views over Palala Valley, the lodge has a great African-style design. Benefitting from a heated infinity pool with exquisite views and a roof terrace with Jacuzzi, guests can unwind and take in their surroundings after an exciting day out on safari.
With a plethora of places to chill-out and socialise, guests are invited to relax in any of the soft seated areas in the house, or gather around the sunken fire pit for a typical African sundowner. There’s also a pool table, a fully-stocked bar, Satellite TV and a sound system for guests’ entertainment.
The Reserve is divided into two parts: The Observatory and the Leobo Lodge chalets.
The Observatory is a state-of-the-art four-bedroom lodge designed by award-winning architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens. It takes its name from the 7-metre tower-shaped library, crowned with an automated rotating copper dome housing a 20-inch telescope and even a solar scope.
It has an ultra-stylish but liveable design with four bedrooms accommodating up to six adults and three children. Built on top of a hill facing west to capture the setting sun, it offers the perfect setting to truly relax. The bedrooms all have spectacular views and boast spacious en-suite bathrooms, open fireplaces, countless accessories and a daybed for relaxing.
The Lodge has a great African style and offers breath-taking views over the Palala Valley. It is composed of nine chalets that can comfortably sleep up to 20 adults in total. Each chalet is designed in a rustic typical safari style. They each have their own deck, and en-suite facilities.
For large groups looking to experience authentic Africa without compromising on luxury, Leobo Private Reserve is the perfect choice.
