Singita Serengeti House is a luxury safari retreat located on the slopes of Sasakwa Hill in the Grumeti Reserves, close to the Serengeti National Park.
This is the perfect place to experience the Tanzanian wilderness. Pretty river valleys cross woodland, forest, grass lands, and huge plains. Every year, more than a million animals go through the area during their migratory journey. Guests have opportunities to encounter bearded wildebeests, bat eared foxes, black rhinos, Maasai giraffes, lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs and more.
Singita Serengeti House is composed of a lounge with a fireplace and a veranda with a spotting scope. The interior is decorated in natural and light tones to perfectly match the environment, giving a warm and peaceful atmosphere to the house.
Up to eight guests can stay in two suites in the main house and in two garden suites, all air-conditioned with a dressing area, a TV and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
Guests stay on a fully-catered basis. The on-site discreet staff is highly professional and the chef prepares delicious meals according to requests. Those who want to have an outside dinner can go to the Sasakwa Lodge nearby.
Guests enjoy an elegant large wooden deck terrace by the 25-metre infinity pool, both offering amazing views of the surroundings.
Sport aficionados are spoilt. There is a tennis and a badminton court, a lawn croquet, a pool table and another swimming pool plus a gym at Sasakwa Lodge nearby.
Many guided activities are available: game drives in open vehicles, night drives, mountain biking, archery, horse riding and walks.
After a long day, guests can stay quiet in their house and watch a DVD, satellite television or to play with the PlayStation.

Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions. It is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million wild animals and its countless Nile crocodiles. It covers 14750 square kilometres of savannah, grassland plains, woodlands and forests. It lies in Northwestern Tanzania, at the border of Kenya.
Tanzania’s climate is equatorial. It is quite constant, which makes it a year-round destination. The light rain season is from November to March, with very short rains followed by sunshine. It is much warmer from December to March and there are longer rains in April and May.
