Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions. It is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million wild animals and its countless Nile crocodiles. It covers 14750 square kilometres of savannah, grassland plains, woodlands and forests. It lies in Northwestern Tanzania, at the border of Kenya.
