A luxury villa with lush gardens and all modern comfort in Bali

Villa The Beji is a luxurious six-bedroom villa immersed in a large garden in the heart of Canggu. The water features and fish ponds create a very calming setting, perfect for relaxation.

The property is very close to a great variety of restaurants and cafes, and the beach.

With an extensive outdoor area, this villa is ideal for family gatherings, while still offering privacy to all guests due to the very well-laid suites, which have their own terrace and bathroom.

The layout of the property is quite unique, with different pavilions which include a large two-storey dwelling housing the communal living and entertainment areas and six separate sleeping pavilions.

The main house features an open-air sitting area overlooking the garden and the pool. To the right is a large open-air dining room with a dining table and seating for 16 or more, while just to the rear there is a fully fitted and well-stocked kitchen.

Upstairs there is a media room for a cinema-like experience, a DVD library, books and a comfortable seating arrangement.

The Beji boasts all the modern facilities indoors, while outdoors it provides a great variety of things to do, such as relaxing by the swimming pool, having fun with kids on the mini football pitch or playing tennis.

The Villa is fully staffed, including a driver as well. Villa The Beji also has a Platinum Membership at the nearby Canggu Club which gives up to six guests per day complimentary access to their world-class facilities, including a 25m lap pool, covered tennis courts, squash courts, a state-of-the-art gym, soccer field, a wide range of classes including pilates and yoga, and even a water park.

At the Canggu Club, there is also a Day Club for kids, 10-pin bowling, and a trampolining hall available to use for an additional fee.

Villa The Beji

Just a few kilometres north of Seminyak, on the edge of Southwest Bali’s greenbelt, is the hugely popular area known as Canggu, a once sleepy and rural area of Balinese villages surrounded by rice fields and great surf breaks, that is now one of the most popular and dynamic areas on the whole island. Here, hidden down a quiet side road, you will find the quiet and peaceful Villa The Beji.

Filled with an eclectic mix of surfer haunts, guesthouses, boutique hotels and luxury villas as well as a slew of great cafes, restaurants, spas, boutiques, yoga schools and wellness retreats, Canggu is now fast evolving into Bali's hippest beachside scene, attracting more and more foreign residents, holidaymakers and day-trip visitors.

Meanwhile, traditional Balinese village life continues in Canggu as it has always done. Crops are planted and harvested, ritual music is carried on the breeze and temple ceremonies are a common sight. Relish the harmony!

Villa The Beji is only 500 metres from the Canggu Club in the heart of South Canggu, with many good spas, cafes and small western and Indonesian restaurants lining the main road outside the villa.

There are several good beaches within easy driving distance. The Bali Equestrian Centre is only 900m away.

Sophisticated Seminyak, a few kilometres south of Canggu, lays claim to the highest concentration of independent fine-dining restaurants on the island, including Sarong, La Lucciola and Ku Dé Ta, together with a wide choice of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant boutiques.

About 13km up the coast to the north of Canggu is the Nirwana Bali Golf Club which was designed by Greg Norman, and is frequently voted the number one golf course in Asia. Next to this is Pura Tanah Lot; a sea temple perched high on a wave-lashed rock and probably the most photographed sight in Bali.
