Grand Eggerfeld is a luxury chalet available to rent in Flattach, Austria and is set in a prime location for a world class ski holiday. Located near to the Mölltaler Glacier in Austria, it is the year-round resort for the National German Alpine team, as well as the Austrian Skiing Team. The glacier is often used for training purposes due to its optimal practice area, and year-round snowfall.

This exclusive luxury chalet is in a superb position for avid skiers, and with its incredible panoramas and fantastic amenities, guests can enjoy their own pristine alpine retreat and superb family getaway. Traditional alpine design has been complemented by a wonderful outdoor area and ample terraces, and is suitable for up to six guests, so is perfect for groups of friends and families.

The terraces are perfect for relaxing, and with an incredible panoramic view of the waterfall and surrounding landscape, guests can enjoy the tranquillity, listen to the sounds of nature and birdsong, and feel at one with the environment, whilst soaking up some sunshine in the private Jacuzzi. The considerable terraces lead into an inviting space with a home-away-from-home feel.

Comprised of a large living space with a delightful fireplace for keeping warm, and an open plan kitchen and dining area, it is the perfect space to host an event, socialise, gather for family meal or catch up on your favourite past times together. With an authentic wood kitchen, featuring a cooking island and breakfast lounge, the seamless blend between traditional and modern is highlighted with the modern appliances, and state of the art technology, giving the ultimate in comfort whilst retaining the alpine character.

Featuring two large well-appointed double bedrooms on the upper floor, both with en-suite facilities and offering guests panoramic views from the balcony terrace, as well as a delightful free-standing bathtub in the bedroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the natural light to flood through.

Further upstairs is an attic luxury suite, perfect for a separate family, or friends wishing to maintain privacy, with its own living/dining area, complete with cooking island, luxury bathroom, and balcony terrace. Two double sofa beds are available on request to sleep an extra four guests (maximum capacity is ten guests) 

This chalet is the ideal retreat for guests wishing for the perfect ski base camp, as well as offering comfort, design and beautiful surroundings.

Grand Chalet Eggerfeld


Famous for skiing, cycling and mountain biking in the cycle routes of the Mölltaler Glacier Road and Oschenigsee, as well as giving guests the options to take part in many other activities nearby. Such as, hiking and climbing (Hohe Tauern National Park, Grossglockner), rafting and canyoning or bathing in the nearby Carinthian lakes (Millstätter-See, Gössnitzsee, Wörthersee). For a more authentic experience, guests can take part in a city tour and then go shopping and explore in the small towns of Lienz and Spittal, Thermen Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. Or can enjoy the sights and brave the bridge at Ragga Gorge, and experience the stunning panoramas from Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
