House Hannes Schneider (HHS) is one of Stuben’s most historically important mountain lodges, thoroughly renovated in line with eco-friendly practices and sustainable building methods. The HHS is a stylish alpine property where designers have creatively fused decorative pieces reminiscent of the glamorous skiing history of the 1950s with the latest facilities. The chalet’s first floor boasts an impressive open-plan living room, which, with its log fireplace, has to be the best place to cosy up with a cup of hot chocolate after a long day of hiking or skiing. On the same level, guests will find a modern kitchen and a large dining area. There is also a separate playroom with a modern cinema with a Sonos sound system, Apple TV and extra-plush recliners.

The HHS is located in central Stuben, a winter ski paradise, and is the largest ski area in Austria.
With access to 87 lifts and cable cars, as well as 305 downhill ski Runs, Stuben is definitely one of the best ski destinations in Austria.

The HHS in Stuben is where Hannes Schneider spent most of its childhood years, thus the picturesque village is intimately connected to the person considered by many ‘the father of the modern skiing’.
