A luxury Tuscan-style villa perched on a hill overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea
Situated on top of a hill, Villa Hibiscus offers one of the most beautiful views in the Caribbean: that of the Macaroni Bay with its white sandy beaches and surrounding islands.
The villa, which has been featured in Architectural Digest, has a very neat design offering the highest levels of comfort. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent their holiday here, expressing their enjoyment of the beauty and calmness of the estate.
From the infinity pool to the sprawling terraces, there is plenty of space for relaxing outdoors and taking in the spectacular views. The property is surrounded by beautifully-manicured gardens, with fountains, ponds, and two rocky plunge pools throughout.
Across the wide sun decks and several places for relaxing or outdoor entertaining, from the poolside gazebo lounge, to deck chairs and sun loungers dotted around the grounds. Al fresco meals can be enjoyed in the courtyard dining garden or the dining gazebo.
Indoors, the property features a spacious living room with huge, soft sofas and which opens onto a veranda. It also boasts a kitchen and pantry, a fully-equipped entertainment and media room and a games room to keep guests of all ages entertained.
All six of the spacious bedrooms have access to private terraces offering spectacular views. Each en-suite bathroom conforms to the classic, prestigious style of the house, each offering luxury and practicality. The master suite’s bathroom is particularly spectacular, as it opens out to a private veranda, leading to one of the plunge pools. The second master suite also enjoys a private terrace and access to a plunge pool, and one of the remaining suites has a children’s dormitory attached, perfect for families. The suites are spaced apart throughout the property, providing a private and intimate space to retreat to at the end of the day.
Villa Hibiscus is remarkable for its comfort, style, and proximity to one of the island’s most renowned beaches. Guests also have easy access to other great facilities on the island, including the tennis club, the equestrian centre and the famous Basil’s Bar.

Area
Villa Hibiscus is located on Mustique Island, the third largest island in the Grenadines.Fifty years ago, Mustique was bought by Lord Glennconner and after he offered a plot to Princess Margaret, the island started to receive interest from the media and became a well-known holiday destination. There are two bodies of water surrounding Mustique: the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and there are many beaches for visitors to explore. The main beaches are Macaroni Bay with great waves and a grass area in which to picnic, and Lagoon Beach on the quieter Caribbean Sea, which is perfect for families with small children, and offers a picnic area by the lagoon.
There are a host of activities to enjoy on the island, from the legendary house parties where guests from different villas get to know each other, to scuba diving or sailing, to horse riding and tennis. Guests can also enjoy relaxing spa treatments by their swimming pool.
Many visitors are so charmed by island life, the unequivocal hospitality and friendliness of the staff, and the sense of wellbeing this holiday island gives them, that they fall under its spell, returning year after year.
