A beautifully restored villa with a minimalistic design and luxurious finishes
Villa Ioli is located below the castle of Pyrgos, one of the most important fortresses on the island of Santorini. Originally an old factory, the villa’s restoration took years of meticulous research and careful study to ensure that the end result harmonised with the striking surroundings and honoured the island’s traditional architecture.
The outdoor area is dream-like, with two impressive pool terraces and various open-air spaces maximising guests' luxurious experiences. A public space with an extra fully-equipped kitchen and a large dining area enhance the entertainment facilities.
Whether swimming in the counter-current pool, being immersed in the Jacuzzi, or enjoying a drink at the outdoor bar, guests can enjoy the Santorini summer in this one-of-a-kind villa.
Opting for a minimalistic loft-style design, architects used polished cement worked in the old-fashioned way, and added modern eco-friendly materials. The beautiful matte finish of the floors, meticulously produced by local craftsmen, reflects the natural light let in by the high ceilings. Elements of the factory still live and breathe in the new design, with a huge piece of machinery becoming a modern sculpture. Minimalistic design, clean lines, and opulent materials define the interior décor, creating an aura of purity. White becomes vibrant, as polished surfaces and handpicked furniture add to the overall effect.
The villa is comprised of four units of varying sizes, sleeping up to 16 guests in total. Units One and Two both sleep up to four guests and feature a master double with en-suite bathroom, a loft double bedroom, a guest shower room, an open-plan living and dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Unit Three sleeps two and features a master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom as well as an open-plan living area and a kitchenette. Unit Four is the largest, sleeping up to six guests and is made up of one master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one standard double and one twin with shared shower room, an open-plan living and dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
With its separate units, spacious outdoor areas, and modern facilities, Villa Ioli is the perfect choice for groups of family and friends travelling together.

Location
Villa Ioli is located just outside of the town of Fira on the beautiful Greek island of Santorini.
The island features a surreal landscape, a relic of what was probably the biggest volcanic eruption in recorded history. The caldera and its vast curtain wall of multi-coloured cliffs is spectacular.
The village of Oia on the northern tip of the island is a hugely popular sunset viewing site because there is an uninterrupted view of the sun as it finally sinks below the horizon. From further south, down the caldera edge, the last of the setting sun tends to be obscured by the islands of Nea Kameni and Thirasia.
The beaches are unique: the most famous are Perissa, Kamari and the Red Beach. Perissa and Kamari have a large, seemingly endless black sandy beach while the famous Red Beach of Greece is composed of black and red volcanic rocks.
In addition to Oia, Santorini has other captivating clifftop villages that are worth exploring– visit Fira, Messaria and Imerovigli.
