Masseria Il Trullino is situated in Puglia Salento region, the southernmost part of Italy’s heel. It consists of some lovely cities, including the sea-front Gallipoli and Otranto, the sophisticated baroque Lecce, and the upscale region of Leuca. Yet, Salento is also full of smaller towns and villages, not that touristy, however, worth visiting thanks to their unspoilt historic centre.
Salento plays an important role in Italy’s economy, producing quality olive oils, robust wines, including Primitivo di Manduria and Salice Salentino. It also has a great contribution to the tourist industry, thanks to its natural beauty, from its long coastline, azure waters, heavenly beaches, karstic caves, chalk cliffs and salt-water lagoons.
Salento is the perfect holiday destination for travellers who want dreamy beached, delicious food and wine, picturesque historic towns and fun for all the family. It boasts a long and complex coastline, which is the major attraction.
