A modern and sleek property with spacious outdoor areas under the Sardinian sunshine
Part of the luxurious Is Molas Resort, Villa Palas is a contemporary property sleeping up to 8 guests. The name of the villa comes from the red and gold waistcoat Sardinian women traditionally wore on holidays to convey wealth and happiness, thus hinting at the island’s refined artisan traditions.
Created by Massimiliano Fuksas, the villa’s exceptional design was inspired by Sardinia’s unspoiled natural surroundings. The property is comprised of four separate, terracotta-coloured buildings of different sizes and shapes, set around an interior courtyard and connected by a raised terrace and walkway on the first floor.
The rooftop terrace features sun loungers and a seating area with panoramic views of the sea and the Is Molas golf course; the perfect space for topping up a tan or relaxing with loved ones.
On the ground level, a large swimming pool of 75 square metres wraps around one of the buildings, offering respite from the Sardinian heat. The internal garden and courtyard spans 500 square metres, and features Mediterranean foliage, an ornamental pool, and shaded patio areas with outdoor lounge and dining spaces.
Each of the four buildings has its own function; the first, a poolside fitness and relaxation room. Next, the largest building on site is the communal hub with a spacious, open-plan living and dining area, also featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a utility room. Upstairs in the same building are the villa’s two master bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities.
Another unit features two single bedrooms – one on each floor – with en-suite bathrooms, one of which can be used as a study area for smaller groups. The last unit hosts one large double bedroom with en-suite facilities, perfect for those looking for a little more privacy.
As part of the Is Molas Resort, guests are just a stone’s throw from its golf course, one of the most well-known in Italy.
The property’s unique design, fabulous outdoor facilities, and stunning surroundings make Villa Palas the perfect choice for a luxury Sardinian getaway with family and friends.
