The garden offers guests a splendid view of the Tuscan landscapes as far as the towered town of San Gimignano in the horizon. The swimming pool is surrounded by an arcaded loggia and there is a shower and a fridge for the comfort of guests.

An ancient lemon house with six arched windows has been transformed into a charming lounge with a roof terrace.

Moreover, a 13th-century chapel dedicated to Saint Bartholomew containing a crypt is also part of the garden.

The ground floor of the castle is home to a large living room with a cosy fireplace and a magnificent dining room adorned with French windows opening out to the courtyard.

A second living room, decorated in earthy yellow tones, also has a fireplace along with a reading alcove with a TV, computer and communication systems for those catching up on work during their stay.

There is also a traditional, fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful terracotta flooring and beamed ceilings.

The ground floor also houses one of the double en-suite bedrooms, where Federico Barbarossa used to stay.

A traditional marble staircase leads guests to the first floor where four bedrooms are situated two doubles and two twins. 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. One of the double bedrooms has a private balcony overlooking the front yard. There is also a laundry room with wardrobe on this floor. A secondary staircase also gives access to the ground floor.

The 12th-century tower which is part of the original castle and stands alongside the villa features a living room on the first floor and a double en-suite bedroom. Privileged guests staying in the tower have the chance to enjoy breathtaking views from the private roof terrace.
