A historic castle with a roof terrace offering unbeatable 360° views over the Umbrian countryside
Torre Almonte is a 12th-Century stronghold that has been beautifully restored and transformed into luxury accommodation. The castle sleeps up to 12 guests and is ideal for memorable family holidays, special events, or enchanting destination weddings.
Perched on a hillside just outside the historic city of Todi, the castle boasts panoramic views of the rolling Umbrian countryside. The expansive grounds are perfect for hosting weddings or other memorable events, with a restored 18th-Century chapel and beautifully-landscaped gardens offering an ideal backdrop.
Secreted amongst olive trees and rosemary bushes is a 15-metre swimming pool. After a refreshing dip, guests can relax on the pool deck lined with sun loungers and soak up the rays.
Atop the tower, a furnished roof terrace with 360° views is ideal for sunset cocktails or dinner-with-a-view. During the heat of summer, meals can also be enjoyed under the shade of the trees in the garden.
Across the castle’s five floors, the combination of medieval architecture and modern design elements creates a unique feel. Many rooms have stunning exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors, and stone fireplaces beautifully contrasted with contemporary furnishings and details.
Each floor of the tower offers spacious communal areas to unwind or entertain. Guests can curl up on sofas around a fireplace, enjoy a convivial dinner party in one of the elegant dining rooms, or head to the cosy reading room for some quiet time.
The property features three fully-equipped kitchens – on the ground, second and third floors – for preparing delicious feasts or enjoying casual meals.
Six double bedrooms sit across three floors. All bedrooms have en-suite or private bathroom facilities, with two rooms boasting luxurious Jacuzzi bathtubs.
Torre Almonte’s stunning location, rich history, and excellent facilities make it the perfect choice for a luxury holiday or memorable event with loved ones.
