Mar Azul is a luxury six-bedroom villa boasting a much-coveted cliff-top location overlooking the vast ocean, the beautiful stretch of beach in Salema and the coastline of western Algarve. The three-storey property boasts a modern interior and immaculate facilities, including a superb swimming pool.
On the entrance level, guests will find an ample dining room, a split-level living room with fireplace, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The living room is truly the place to relax and unwind, enjoying the company of friends and family. Situated right by the ample windows overlooking the ocean, and with multiple blue decorative items, the living room promotes a sense of serenity and calm. From the living room guests can exit onto the terrace which boasts an al fresco dining table as well as a portable barbecue.
The six bedrooms are divided between the entrance floor, the top floor and the lower-ground floor. One double bedroom with direct access to the pool area, separate shower room and office is situated on the entrance level. The first-floor hosts four bedrooms, all with large double bed, and en-suite facilities.
The last bedroom is part of the self-contained apartment positioned on the lower ground floor. Along with an en-suite double bedroom, the apartment boasts a living area, dining space, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Location
Villa Mar Azul is located in Salema, a picturesque village in west Algarve. The village still has a community of fishermen who launch their boats into the ocean to catch fish, which is then served fresh at the local restaurants.
The villa is conveniently close to numerous stretches of sandy beach, basilicas, and other architectural beauties, including the Aljezur Castle, the Sagres fortress, and the lighthouse in Cape St Vincent.
The area is brimming with opportunities for activities, for surfing and diving, to hiking and cycling. The most important hiking routes are part of Rota Vicentina which comprises 350 km of pedestrianised paths. Golf and tennis enthusiasts can go to the nearest resort, 2.5 km away from the villa. This resort also offers spa facilities.
A famous spot not far from the villa is Ponte da Piedade which is popular with amateur or professional photographs. Ponte da Piedade is a striking formation of cliffs of up to 20 metres high set into the ocean. This area has many caves that guests usually explore.
While the nearest beach, local restaurants and shops are within a manageable 600 metres walking distance, in order to reach the other beaches and landmarks, guests would need to dispose of transportation means.
