Modern beach villa with rooftop terrace and swimming pool
Sitting atop stilts over the sandy landscape of Comporta, Casa do Pego is a stunning villa just five minutes’ walk from the beach. This three-bedroom beach house is the perfect property for a seaside getaway with family and friends.
The standout feature of the villa is its sunny rooftop terrace with 30 m² heated swimming pool, sun loungers, and sun shade. The elevated position of the terrace ensures privacy for guests and provides a stunning setting for evening drinks as the sun sets.
Downstairs, there is a pine wood deck across the front of the property with expansive views of the surrounding fields leading down to the sea. There is also an internal courtyard with a barbecue and outdoor dining setting ideal for enjoying al fresco meals or relaxing in the shade.
Seamlessly merging the property with its surrounding environment, the garden is sculpted like a sand dune and features locally-sourced, native vegetation.
The clean architectural lines of the villa will appeal to any design lover and floor-to ceiling windows throughout the property allow natural light and sea breezes to flow through the open-plan interiors. The main living area features unique art and design pieces and plush beach house furnishings to create a home-from-home feel. A suspended fireplace and underfloor heating mean that the villa can be enjoyed year-round, and the flat screen TV and sound system ensures everyone will be kept entertained.
A fully-equipped, modern kitchen allows for guests to prepare tasty feasts which can be enjoyed in the adjoining dining area. The kitchen also leads straight out to the courtyard, allowing for a social atmosphere whether cooking in or outdoors.
Three well-appointed bedrooms with a shared terrace provide relaxing spaces to retreat to at the end of the day. The master bedroom boasts a four-poster queen-size bed, a sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom, whilst the other bedrooms can be set up as either twin rooms or doubles and share a bathroom.
For small groups of family or friends seeking a luxury property where they can soak up the sun in style, Casa do Pego is the ideal choice.
