The city of Girona is perfect for a day trip with its beautiful old quarter, numerous historic sites to explore including La Força Vella – an almost triangular fortress built by the Romans, the Cathedral of Girona, the Jewish Quarter, the Arab Baths, the ramparts, and the bustling Rambla de la Llibertat. In addition, Girona has a wide variety of restaurants to experience a uniquely Mediterranean gastronomic experience.
