Chalet Owens strikes the perfect balance between traditional alpine style and understated luxury

Chalet Owens enjoys a privileged location, only 100 metres from the Bellecote piste in Courchevel 1850 and five minutes by foot from the centre.

Boasting 1500 square metres of living space over five levels, this luxurious alpine retreat can accommodate a group of 12 guests in its six cosy bedrooms.

Chalet Owens features the perfect mix of traditional features, modern touches and designer furniture, creating the ideal backdrop for a relaxing winter break for groups of friends who want to celebrate together.

Guests can relax after a day on the slopes in the open-plan living area with fireplace, in the dining area, or on the terrace. There are two fully-equipped kitchens, one of which can be accessed via a separate staff elevator.

Chalet Owens has a fantastic spa and wellness area with a 15×3 indoor swimming pool which boasts a mobile floor and partly extends to the outside of the chalet. The spa also features a fully-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, two massage treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge and a hair and beauty salon.

Not only does this unique chalet offer great relaxation areas, it also features a 250m² entertainment/party room for those special celebrations with loved ones, boasting multiple sitting areas, TVs, wine cellars and a children’s playroom, as well as a separate home cinema room.

Chalet Owens has six suites that can be configured to either king-sized or twin beds.

The chalet can be booked along with Chalet Tahoe, which is an eight-bedroom chalet linked through a hidden door in the party room.

Chalet Owens

Area

Situated only 100 metres from the Bellecote piste and five minutes away from the centre, Chalet Owens enjoys an amazing location in the heart of Courchevel.

Courchevel 1850 has earned a reputation for being one of the world’s most glamourous and fashionable resorts.

Courchevel is part of the vast Trois Vallées ski area, which extends across the Meribel and Val Thorens valleys, making it the world’s largest ski area bar none.

Having so many options also means that good snow conditions can almost always be found somewhere across the ski area. The area generally has good snow reliability, helped by the high altitude of the area and Courchevel’s northerly aspect.

Courchevel and the Trois Vallées have a modern and efficient lift system so even if there are queues at busy periods, they tend to move fairly fast.

Courchevel is a good option for families as there is a wide selection of gentle slopes close to hand and there is also a well-run ski nursery, the ESF Club des Piou-Piou, in Courchevel 1650.
