This superbly renovated 19th-century villa preserves the patrician design which is traditional in the area and in the Villa d’Este. The property offers 300 square metres of living space which are distributed over three floors, accessed via a lift.
The villa comprises a lovely living room with breath-taking lake views, a dining room, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The dining room has direct access to the garden and there is a terrace where guests can unwind while admiring the beauty of the scenery.
This beautiful four-bedroomed villa is suitable for a group of up to eight guests. Each bedroom is well-appointed, equipped with dressing rooms and en-suite marble bathrooms. Villa Malakoff overlooks the stunning Lake Como, which has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and the wealthy since Roman times. The region offers many art and cultural gems as well as interesting villas and palaces (such as Villa Olmo, Villa Serbelloni and Villa Carlotta) that are worth visiting.
There are plenty of activities and sports available in the area from gold and tennis, to horse riding and biking, to windsurfing and kayaking, to name but a few.
To tour the lake, a ferry service connects to all the lakeside towns; alternatively, boats and motorboats with a private crew may be hired.
