Casa Cau’s Double Corner Apartment (DCA) is conveniently nestled within in a 17th century palazzo, which is situated in the very heart of Rome, a two minutes’ walk away from the Trevi Fountain. The palazzo was not an aristocratic residence but it was dedicated to the staff who looked after the Quirinal Palace (a few minutes’ walk away), hence why it is a more simpler property, nevertheless providing comfort and tranquillity.
The current owner, Pino Cau, wished to maintain this beauty of simplicity and offer travellers the opportunity to relax in a bubble of tranquillity and serenity. Similarly to the LCA, the right corner apartment (RCA) offers a 49 sqm space comprising of a bedroom overlooking the square, a large bathroom with Turkish steam shower, and open plan kitchenette with ample dining room and relaxation area. The RCA’s bed can be separated and is overlooked by a large painting that reproduces a specific Roman fresco.
