Contemporary Italian design combined with fine Florentine artisanship in one exclusive apartment

Located in the historical Palazzo Bardi in the centre of Florence, Apartment Camerata is an exclusive rental property for up to six guests. It is just 50 meters from the Arno River and a few blocks from the Uffizi Galleries and Piazza Santa Croce, making it the ideal base for a city break.

Originally built by Brunelleschi in 1420, the entire Palazzo underwent a major restoration to bring it to its present day splendour.

Within the first floor apartment, the décor is a combination of traditional Florentine artisanship and the best in contemporary Italian design. The interiors feature original plaster and stone works, along with stunning 18th century frescoes and medieval statues, all complemented by specially-curated lighting. The rooms are filled with Bauhaus period furniture from top designers, as well as a precious 17th century sofa.

The main living areas are situated on the mezzanine floor and include a living room with comfortable seating and a flat screen TV, a dining room with an elegant 10-person dining table, a cocktail & coffee bar, and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen.

The large master bedroom is simply stunning with wall and ceiling frescoes, a spacious sitting area, and large double bed. An additional bed can be used in the master bedroom, on request. The other two bedrooms are both well-appointed doubles, which open onto the double-height living room and library on the entrance level. All bedrooms boast en-suite facilities, including a relaxing bathtub in the master bathroom.

The building also features a restaurant on the ground floor where guests can enjoy an elegant meal, or arrange for in-house dining within the apartment.

With its sophisticated ambiance and open-plan living, Apartment Camerata is the perfect base for a personal or corporate retreat in a stunning, historic city.
