Villa 'Il Principe' is the latest design project of Astrid Schiller Wirth. Astrid's eye for detail and creative passion are seen in this completely renovated neo gothic structure, originally built in late 1800's by an aristocratic Tuscan family. Her unique style of interior design and personal touches are felt throughout the two storey building. Other design projects completed by Astrid include the refurbishment of the Hotel Hassler, Rome with the completely new design of the Eva salon and the famous rooftop restaurant Imago. She also designed 'The International Wine Academy of Rome' also known as 'Il Palazzetto' on the top of the Spanish Steps. Villa il Principe is an intimate setting and the ideal place for vacation, reunions with family or friends, private meetings or wedding celebrations. It is a space that you are able to adapt to your needs, whether this be an exclusive group booking, or a private bed and breakfast getaway. The first floor of the main Villa has 4 spacious, double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom with bathtub and shower facilities and 1 romantically, luxurious Honeymoon Suite. In the grounds of the Villa is also 'La Foresteria', a two bedroom, two bathroom guest house with open fireplace, living room and kitchen. These can be hired separately or together.
The top floor of the main villa features luxurious spa facilities including a sauna, steam room, gym, and massage room.

Val d’Orcia is a welcoming region with hills outlined by endless rows of cypress trees, majestic castles, thermal spa towns and tiny medieval villages. They are all surrounded by olive groves & wine cellars full of oak and chestnut casks in which to age world class wine.
The hilltop village of Montalcino is home to the famous Brunello di Montalcino. It is covered by vineyards and at its centre, visitors find signature examples of medieval architecture such as the Palazzo dei Priori and the wonderful Rocca fortress.
Pienza, not far from the estate, has been declared “Heritage of Mankind” by Unesco and is considered to be the “symbol city” of the Italian Renaissance. It is also famous for its wonderful pecorino cheese.
Montepulciano, in this same area, is another charming village known as the pearl of the 16th century. It is famous for the production of wines such as Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
A few minutes from the Villa lies Chianciano Terme, a famous thermal spa town that dates back to Roman times.
