Holidaying in Tuscany is all about living alfresco, and there’s no better place to experience an alfresco lifestyle than the villa’s elegantly designed outdoor space which boasts a series of beautiful gardens, an infinity-edge pool, and a beautiful pool terrace furnished with sun-loungers and parasols. Adjoining the pool terrace is a fully fitted outdoor kitchen featuring a pizza oven, gas-fired barbecue, two-ring burner, fridge, ice-maker, as well as a dishwasher. Il Forno, also on the ground floor (previously part of the old oven) now serves as a TV room and library, or as an extra guest room furnished with a convertible luxury sofa-bed and ottoman.
There’s also a studio which serves as an office, with a laptop PC provided for guests’ use. Underneath the studio, is perhaps one of the villa’s highlights – the cellar - which is stocked with a range of some of the region’s most famous wines.
Set in a separate wing, is San Luigi’s entertainment space with high ceilings, and featuring a Smart TV, Sonos system, ample seating on comfortable sofas, a unique bar with large Travertino noce bar table, and all bar facilities including two wine fridges, and everything guests might need for whipping up summer cocktails. For the competitive guests, there’s a handmade full-size snooker table, as well as a card/games table.
The dining area is utterly elegant, featuring a large chestnut dining table that can seat 14 guests for a formal dining occasion, while outside, guests will find a host of travertine café tables for al fresco eating and coffee breaks.
The indoor kitchen is a veritable cook’s paradise boasting large stove, American fridge/freeze, additional larder fridge, two dishwashers, and pretty much all the gadgets a cook needs to prepare exquisite meals.
Six beautifully appointed bedrooms await guests in search of rest. Boasting Vi-spring beds, premium Busatti linen and towels, air-conditioning, under-floor heating, and en-suite travertine bathrooms, all with showers and some with freestanding baths, all the bedrooms are veritable sanctuaries of relaxation.

Venezia: the largest suite with high ceilings and direct access to the loggia. It has a large four poster bed (super king), and rich velvet furnishings. Private sitting area, LCD Smart TV (with Sky), a travertine fireplace, en-suite bathroom with blu-Etruscan travertine double shower, double washbasin, and freestanding bath.
Cinese: with furniture inspired by or brought back from China, this suite has a king-sized bed, and a locally crafted travertine en-suite bathroom in a ‘Mandarin’ style
Girasole: offers views to the West and South and direct access to the loggia; it has a king-sized bed and en-suite travertine bathroom with large rain shower.
Mezzanino: oak and iron staircase lead up to the bedroom with a queen-size bed, overlooking the free-standing bath. Another travertine bathroom with rain shower and washbasin sits beneath the mezzanine bedroom.
Blu: features zip-link twin beds (convert to king) with Blue Busatti linen, and en-suite shower room.
Oliveto: situated in an independent building, this suite has a queen-sized bed, its own sitting area complete with LCD Smart TV (with Sky), and a working travertino Rosa fireplace. This suite offers views to the West and has its own covered terrace and garden over-looking the Olive Grove. The bathroom in Carrera marble features a freestanding bath and separate shower.
Il Forno: located on the main villa’s ground floor and directly opposite the guest bathroom with rain shower, Il Forno has been converted into a comfortable sitting room complete with LCD Smart TV (with Sky) and DVD, and a wood-burning stove. Featuring a corner sofa and ottoman that can be turned into a queen-sized bed, this room also offers flexibility as a guest room for those who prefer not to climb the original travertine staircase, or as overflow for extra people.

The medieval walled-town of Buonconvento situated at a short seven-minutes’ drive away, has restaurants and bars, shops selling local produce, as well as a supermarket and railway station.
Montalcino famous for its Brunello vineyards is just 15 minutes away.
Siena and the hilltop towns of Pienza and San Quirico d’Orcia, as well as the thermal baths at Bagno di Vignone are all reachable within 30 minutes.
Florence, San Gimignano, the Chianti region and the Tuscan coast can all be reached within an hour’s drive.
