Beautiful villa immersed in landscaped gardens and olive groves

With breath-taking views of the neighbouring islands and the Mediterranean Sea, Villa Quercia is a charming property composed of a main villa and a separate guest annexe, sleeping up to 13 guests in total.

The villa is surrounded by local plants, olive groves, lemon trees and beautifully-designed gardens with a reflecting pond. The owner’s love of art and design can be discovered in the various sculptures which embellish the grounds.

A large, heated swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers perfect for soaking up the rays. Beside the pool is a shaded relaxation and outdoor dining area, which features a brick bar with a wood-fire pizza oven allowing guests to try their hand at traditional Italian pizza.

There is a second outdoor dining setting on the terrace of the main house, perfect for enjoying an al fresco meal as the sun goes down.

Outdoors, there is also a tennis table and a boules pitch to keep all ages entertained.

The main villa is comprised of a large living room with fireplace, a smaller TV room, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. There are three double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all with en-suite facilities.

The independent annex – set below the pool and main villa level – features three double bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

For days out at the beach, guests of the villa are entitled to four beach chairs, two umbrellas and parking at the private club Cala Piatti, which is around two kilometres from the property, and is open from June to the end of September.

Villa Quercia is ideally situated for wonderful coastal and mountainside walks.

Villa Quercia

Villa Quercia enjoys an ideal position to explore the beauty of this picturesque land that runs between the Mediterranean beaches and the rolling hills of Tuscany.

The property is close to the Calamoresca Park located on the panoramic road and 7 km. from the town of Porto Santo Stefano.

Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole are the two villages of the municipality of Monte Argentario. 12 km away from each other, they are different in history, traditions and folklore.

Porto Santo Stefano, overflowing with vitality from every street corner, was founded after Porto Ercole by fishermen emigrants. On the promenade, there is an excellent fish market and a beautiful selection of cafés and restaurants. The Marina, at the end of the seafront houses, hides beautiful sail boats and luxury yachts.

Porto Ercole is a small town but with much history behind it. The old town is surrounded by city walls of Siena of the fifteenth century and boasts the picturesque square of Santa Barbara. This is dominated by the Clock Tower, where there is a plaque in commemoration of the great painter Michelangelo Merisi, called Caravaggio, who died in Porto Ercole in 1610.

In addition of its beautiful turquoise sea, Monte Argentario is dotted with pretty beaches and coves that make it an excellent choice for a holiday of fun and relaxation. Holiday-makers enjoy sunbathing on the wide beaches of fine sand, the small coves with sand and pebble, close to the natural creeks or on the flat rocks.

Distances (approx.):
Cala Piccola – 3 km
Porto Santo Stefano – 6 km
Porto Ercole – 16 km
