Villa F is situated on the Giudecca Island in the Venetian Lagoon. Recent renovations of some of the traditional buildings in Giudecca have boosted the island's status as a holiday destination.
Although it is very close to Venice’s livelier and more touristic areas, Giudecca is regarded as a residential area boasting some chic apartments and exclusive houses. It is famous for its churches, the most famous being the Palladio-designed Il Redentore.
Venice is a year-round destination and offers its visitors many festivals and art-exhibitions hosted in some important museums; however, the whole lagoon resembles an open-air exhibition. The most notable exhibitions are the Biennale and the ones hosted at Palazzo Grassi and Museo Correr.
Every July, Venice hosts the religious festival Il Redentore, when the city is transformed into a lively setting with lanterns, fireworks and other attractions.
