Gstaad is an authentic alpine village of the Swiss Alps surrounded by stunning lakes and mountains. A further nine chalet villages make up the region, all offering their own charm.

The ski area offers 220 km of downhill ski slopes between 1000 and 3000 metres above sea level. The highest point of the region is the Glacier 3000, where guests can enjoy amazing skiing right through to May, as well as The Peak Walk – the only suspension bridge in the world to connect two mountain peaks.

Off the slopes, visitors can enjoy a range of activities including guided horse rides, dog sledding, and ice skating or curling on natural and man-made rinks.

During the summer months, the resorts is a nature lover’s paradise with magnificent mountain lakes and lush green pastures, still used for dairy farming today. There are over 300 km of hiking routes, including the Wispile to Lake Launen track and the Horneggli to the Rindeberg path.
