The estate is characterised by traditional Provençal stone masonry and terracotta-tiled roofs, seamlessly combining historic regional character with exceptional private wellness facilities across its spacious grounds.
The outdoor areas are arranged across stone pathways, terraced gardens, and shaded courtyards. A heated swimming pool sits within a timber-decked terrace bordered by dry stone walls, trees, and sun loungers. A dedicated boules court is set into the lawn beside the main buildings, while shady pergolas and open stone terraces offer dedicated areas for al fresco dining and outdoor relaxation. Positioned further within the grounds, alongside the vineyard, a tennis court offers additional recreation.
Inside, the light-filled interior features polished stone tile flooring, warm wooden furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that connect the living spaces to the outdoor terraces. The spacious open-plan living room is furnished with comfortable sofas and plenty of space for gathering together. HHameau de Fontfresque is set in the peaceful countryside of the Var region in Provence, near the historic village of Rougiers and just outside Aix-en-Provence.
The nearby village of Rougiers features traditional Provençal architecture, a quiet village square, and remnants of the medieval Castrum Saint-Jean perched on the hillside above. A short drive away, Tourves and Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume offer further exploration, with Saint-Maximin renowned for its impressive 13th-century Gothic basilica dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene.
