Centuries-old wood and locally sourced stone throughout ground the property in authentic Swiss heritage, while shimmering chandeliers, plush fabrics, and carefully curated contemporary artwork add modern touches.
Three distinct living areas – all with crackling fireplaces – provide plenty of space to relax with loved ones. The entrance floor features a spacious lounge and dining area with a majestic, open 18th-century wood-burning fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while a pull-down projector screen is ideal for family film nights. The lower level offers another cosy lounge with a projector screen and cosy reading corner, along with a dining area beneath vaulted stone ceilings, offering perfect space for atmospheric dinner parties with local wines from the private cellar. Finally, the top floor features a cosy TV lounge with soaring ceilings, a handy drinks fridge, and a hammam.

Chalet Makini is located in the exclusive Hameau area of Verbier, with enviable views overlooking a small lake. Snow permitting, guests can ski out on to the Le Rouge piste, and ski in from the Savolayres area, Les Esserts and Le Rouge.
Verbier is a mecca for those who love to ski and to party. With access to over 400 km of pisted runs and a huge variety of terrain there is something for everyone, from the gentle nursery slopes of Les Esserts to the steep bump fields of Mont Fort and Tortin. However, it is the huge off-piste ski area, easily accessible from the lift system for which Verbier is most renowned.
Almost as famous as the powder is the village’s lively après ski and nightlife. From the lively terrace at Le Rouge and the cocktail lounge at the Farinet, to two of the Alps’ most famous nightspots, the Farm Club and Coco, visitors can have just as much fun off the slopes as on them!
