Neuendorf House
5 Bedrooms — 10 Guests
A chic, minimalist villa boasting striking architecture, two pools, and a tennis court within 13 hectares of land
Neuendorf House is a striking luxury villa, set amidst the idyllic almond and olive groves of southern Mallorca. Nestled within 13 hectares of land, the property offers total privacy and seclusion amongst nature, perfect for a luxury escape with loved ones or memorable special event.
Designed in the late 1980s by world renowned architects John Pawson and Claudio Silvestrin, the villa’s minimalist aesthetic with clean lines and simple furnishings exemplifies the “less is more” philosophy. Its salmon pink exteriors offer the perfect contrast to the verdant surrounding landscape. A narrow slit in the towering facade leads to an expansive, high-walled courtyard, which forms the heart of the 600 square-metre villa and offers space to soak up the Spanish sunshine.
Jutting out into the landscape, a 30-metre infinity pool spills into a second, smaller pool below. The top pool also boasts a bubbling Jacuzzi section, perfect for enjoying sunset drinks. Lush lawns dotted with trees surround the pool area, creating a tranquil oasis for relaxation, or the perfect setting for a special event. For active guests, the villa also boasts a clay tennis court, tucked away at one end of the gardens.
Another of the villa’s highlights is its rooftop terrace, offering spectacular panoramic views. On the lower level, the expansive grounds provide plenty of space for relaxing and socialising with loved ones. An organic vegetable garden supplies fresh produce, while a cactus garden offers a unique setting for quiet moments of contemplation.
Indoors, the minimalist aesthetic continues, with bright rooms featuring high ceilings, tiled floors, and wood details. Large openings and strategically placed small windows perfectly frame breathtaking views of the surrounding olive groves, mountains, and the sea beyond. The open-plan dining room and state-of-the-art kitchen open out to the courtyard, offering a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
Within the villa, there are four well-appointed bedrooms. Two bedrooms boast en-suite facilities, whilst two further queen-size rooms share a shower room, perfect for families. Additionally, there is a separate one-bedroom guest house, ideal for those seeking more privacy.
With its idyllic setting, stunning architecture, and luxurious facilities, Neuendorf House is the perfect choice for a luxury Mediterranean holiday.
