The outstanding Chalet Les Anges is one of the most luxurious private chalets for rent in Zermatt. Located in the exclusive Petit Village area of Zermatt, the property was designed by renowned interior architect Magali de Tscharner.
Spread over three floors, the chalet is flooded with light through the huge windows, which offer panoramic views over the mountains and the village of Zermatt. Guests will be swept off their feet with the stunning sights of the famous Matterhorn seen from all angles of this alpine property, from the magnificent terraces, living room and bedrooms.
A warm atmosphere welcomes guests right from the entrance. The chalet boasts a contemporary design combined with a traditional alpine ambience, featuring reclaimed wood throughout, iconic designer pieces, and the highest quality natural fabrics and materials. The chalet’s exterior was built using hand-sculpted Matterhorn stone.
Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a spacious living area that leads onto a large terrace with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. The lounge features a crackling fireplace and a grand piano, and leads to the elegant dining room. An adjacent TV room is perfect for younger guests to hide away and relax in.
The chalet is also home to one of the most enviable private spas in the Alps. The wellness area is an oasis created for rest and rejuvenation with a sauna, hammam steam room, massage room and a relaxation area. Moreover, the ambient lighting, the fountain and ornamental pool will simply enhance the blissful feeling guests will experience.
Stepping outside from the spa area to the terrace, guests can sit back in the black granite plunge pool with massage jets and admire the views of the imposing Matterhorn.
The chalet sleeps up to 14 guests in its seven spacious en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms occupy the two lower floors of the chalet and are accessible via an internal lift. Six bedrooms offer stunning Matterhorn views and private balconies.

About the area
Chalet Les Anges is located in a modern and exclusive area of Zermatt village. The chalet is situated slightly above the base of the village and the nearest gondola is just a 3-minute taxi ride away. Confident skiers can ski right to the chalet door via an off-piste trail in the Sunnegga ski area.
Zermatt offers 360km of pistes with terrain for all levels. Children will delight in sledging and visiting the igloo village. For non-skiers, winter hiking or snow shoeing are great ways to see the mountains.
The chalet is just a short walk or electric taxi ride from the traffic-free town centre where guests will find a host of bars, restaurant, cafes and shopping boutiques to explore.
Along with its car-free status, Zermatt’s lift system is powered with solar and hydroelectric energy, making it one of the most eco-friendly ski resorts in Europe. Electric taxis are available 24-hours a day to transport guests around the resort.
In the summer months, Zermatt provides a stunning location for hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, golfing, and even summer skiing.
