Set in peaceful countryside just outside Heraklion on the island of Crete, Geolivia Estate offers the rare combination of privacy, space and luxury across two villas – Erotokritos and Aretousa – with shared grounds. Surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean greenery, the estate features landscaped gardens and stunning sea and mountain views.
At the centre of the grounds is a generous 150-square-metre swimming pool framed by sun loungers, parasols, and over-water day beds. A Jacuzzi sits at one corner of the property, while an outdoor kitchen and two shaded dining areas invite relaxed al fresco meals overlooking the gardens. Moreover, there are plenty of quiet corners to retreat to, including a vegetable garden, pergola-shaded lounge areas, and a terrace bar for drinks after dark.
Another highlight of the villa is its private, floodlit tennis court. This acrylic-topped hard court meets the rigorous standards set by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), ensuring a great game for all, whether amateur or pro.
The two villas are each spread across multiple floors, combining sleek, modern interiors with original artwork by renowned Greek painter Kostas Tsolis. The living areas are open and bright, featuring clean lines and pared-back styling softened by natural materials and carefully chosen design pieces. Both villas feature their own fully equipped kitchens, lounge areas, and indoor dining spaces, providing flexibility for extended families or larger groups. Floor-to-ceiling glass in several spaces opens directly onto the terraces, allowing the outside in and keeping the spaces bright throughout the day.
Across the two villas, there are four fixed bedrooms, plus a flexible configuration of additional sleeping areas that utilise sofa beds. Each main bedroom has been designed with privacy and comfort in mind. The two master bedrooms, one in each villa, are located on the first floor and include private terraces, walk-in wardrobes, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. On the lower ground floors, two further bedrooms each have a double bed and a separate bathroom. These floors also contain spacious living areas with kitchenettes, which can be partitioned to create additional sleeping areas with sofa beds — ideal for younger guests.
