Trullo dei Pumi is a luxury five-bedroom villa on the Trullo Mo’ estate in Apulia. The spacious grounds are perfect for enjoying the countryside, whilst the traditional white stone Trulli allow guests to experience authentic Apulia.

Set on 850 square metres of land, guests can enjoy outdoor living in style. A heated infinity pool is surrounded by a beautiful paved terrace kitted out with sun loungers, deck chairs, and a shaded al fresco dining table for casual poolside drinks. Flanked by Mediterranean gardens, it is the perfect place to soak up the sunshine as soft tunes play over the outdoor sound system.

The pool area also features a circular stone gazebo with a dining table, a barbecue, and a wood fire oven. It’s the perfect place to enjoy relaxed al fresco meals together.

Lush lawns lead back to the villa, where there is another large terrace. This features a covered outdoor lounge setting, another al fresco dining table, plus several smaller living spaces dotted around the villa exterior.

The property also shares some outdoor facilities with neighbouring Trullo delle Dame. The properties are far enough apart that guests can enjoy peace and privacy in their own villa, yet close enough that they’re ideal for groups or families holidaying together. The common areas include a yoga and massage pavilion, an outdoor cinema, a children’s playground, and a vegetable garden.

Indoors, white stone walls and furnishings in elegant neutral shades create a cool and relaxed atmosphere.

A central living area features plush sofas, a smart TV, and a glass dining table for elegant dinner parties. Adjoining the living space is a large kitchen, fully equipped with a coffee machine and modern appliances.

The five beautiful bedrooms are set across the main villa and a dependence, ideal for those looking for more privacy. Each bedroom has a plush double bed and en-suite facilities, with several also offering cosy sitting areas.

With its spacious grounds and excellent facilities, Trullo dei Pumi is the ideal choice for a luxury Apulian getaway, whether booked alone or with the neighbouring property.

NB: When booked with neighbouring Trullo delle Dame, the property can sleep up to 22 guests.

About the area

Trullo dei Pumi is located on the outskirts of the town of Cisternino, part of the renowned Valle d’Itria region of Apulia. The region is known for its picturesque towns, conical-roofed trulli, and rolling countryside covered in vineyards and olive groves.

Cisternino is a quintessential Apulian hillside town. Its labyrinth of white stone streets and alleyways surround a main square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, which is the heart of the town. The town is particularly known for its barbecuing butchers, who cook with open doors, serving diners directly from grill to street.

The nearby towns of Ostuni and Alberobello are well-worth exploring. Alberobello is a picture-postcard town with over 1500 trulli lining its narrow pedestrianised streets, whilst Ostuni boasts a whitewashed Old Town with a beautiful 15th-century cathedral.

The Riviera dei Trulli coastline is around 20 minutes away, allowing guests to enjoy sandy beaches and quaint fishing villages.
