Villa Orizzonte

Villa Orizzonte is a beautiful villa set in the hills above Porto Ercole on the Argentario peninsula. It enjoys views over the famous crescent-shaped La Feniglia and a sand dune that stretches all the way to Ansedonia and mainland Italy.

The villa is very comfortable and secluded. Guests will enjoy all the modern conveniences as well as the delightful garden and the large, heated swimming pool overlooking the sea.

The main villa is composed of five bedrooms, two sitting rooms with home theatre TV systems and a dining room with a large window from which you can see the owners’ vineyard.

A few metres away from the main villa there is a dependence which features two further bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a large lounge/games room with musical instruments and a billiard table.

The villa’s kitchen is strategically placed with access to an outside terrace overlooking the swimming pool with a dining area that can seat up to 12 people. There are ample sunbeds around the large pool and a changing room with a bathroom.

Outside there is also a lovely wisteria covered pergola which can be seen from three bedrooms. Ideal for summer living, there is a barbecue area overlooking the forest with a table for 12 people and an outside seating area.

For those who cannot help working out, the villa has an air-conditioned gym with various machines as well as a separate bathroom.

Villa Orizzonte is strategically located – just a short drive to Porto Ercole with its myriad of fashionable shops and restaurants, to La Feniglia – the best sandy beach in Argentario and to the Cala Galera marina – the best place to rent a boat on the peninsula.

For larger groups, the property can be booked with neighbouring three-bedroom Villa Aurora.

NB: Villa is accessed via steep, single-track road. Also note that staff live on site, in separate accommodation.
