Porto Heli is situated on a pretty and natural harbour in the Peloponnese southern region of mainland Greece. Porto Heli developed when the Athenians started building their summer residences. Nowadays, its natural beauty, the facilities and the activities attract many tourists every summer.
The harbour and the small fishing town of the same name are a good start point for exploration, followed by other towns such as Kranidi, Ermioni, Epidaurus, Nafpliona and Mycenae.
Visitors are spoilt for choices between small private coves with rocky seabeds and long sandy beaches, often with water sportsclubs, sun beds and umbrellas.
Porto Heli is about 190km from Athens by road and 55 nautical miles from Piraeus.
