An oasis of greenery, comfort and tranquility in Italy's capital city

It’s rare to find a luxury villa with swimming pool just 10/20 minutes from downtown Rome, especially one where luxury, privacy, relaxation and comfort are the main features, as is the case with this charming residence. Villa Nocetta is located in Monteverde, an area of Rome which is only a ten-minute drive from the Vatican and the characteristic Trastevere area. It is also near the wonderful park of Villa Doria Pamphilj, the city’s greenest spot. The location of Villa Nocetta allows easy and comfortable transfers to all major historical, cultural and commercial points of interest of the city.

The style of the house dates back sixty years and it is surrounded by a fenced garden with tall pines. Recently renovated, the villa has been transformed into an abode of luxury and comfort, whilst retaining the charm of that period. From the large lobby, guests can access an indoor area furnished with comfortable seats where they can pass their leisure time. From the kitchen, guests can reach a balcony used as an outdoor dining area, fitted with a barbecue area offering incredible views of the garden. And last but not least, a small sunroof on the turret overlooks the park. The swimming pool, surrounded by greenery, is equipped with umbrellas, chairs and sunbeds, and once the Italian sunsets have commenced, and dusk has fallen, the park and swimming pool are illuminated, making these enchanting, ideal places to relax during warm summer evenings.

The villa, although bordering the gardens of other houses, offers high levels of privacy. In addition, a sense of calm seems to pervade this residential area to the degree that it’s easy to forget the villa is in an urban area.

The luxury villa has been furnished and decorated to meet the expectations of the most diverse and discerning of customers, from a family with children to businessmen who are in Rome on a business trip. Comprising six wonderful suites, this villa has air conditioning in every room, and Sky TV in every bedroom. The sixth bedroom has access to the garden at the rear of the villa. The standard of this room is not as high as the others, because it has a slightly smaller bathroom and is located on the ground floor.

It is possible to work in absolute quiet in the peace of the study, equipped with fax, PC, printer, scanner and Wi-Fi. Villa Nocetta’s guests will also have at their disposal two caretakers who will help with anything they may need, but will always respect the guests' privacy. They are staying in an apartment with separate entrance, located at the rear of the villa.

Rome is Italy’s capital city, located in the region of Lazio. As well as being the nation’s capital, Rome is also Italy’s largest and most populated city, with a residential population of more than 2.7 million. An enclave is key to Rome’s identity – the State of the Vatican City, the sovereign territory of the Holy See. This territory exists as the smallest nation in the world, and is the capital of the only religion that has representation in the United Nations (as a non-voting member state). As one of the few major European cities that escaped World War II relatively unscathed, Rome’s centre remains essentially Renaissance and Baroque in character. Not surprisingly then, the historic centre of Rome is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
