A one-of-a-kind farmhouse, overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany

This beautifully restored 16th-century farmhouse estate occupying a hillside location, with stunning views of the vineyards and nearby Vertine Castle. Surrounded by lush gardens and fantastic scenery with olive groves, Italian cypress trees and rolling hills, this estate is the ideal place to enjoy special celebrations, weddings or corporate events.

Some of the highlights of the estate are the heated infinity pool boasting panoramic views of the vineyards, a bocce court, and a courtyard with a wood-burning pizza oven surrounded by lemon and orange trees. Guests can spend the afternoons on the terrace taking in the views, stroll through the lush gardens filled with lavender, roses and citrus trees, or lazing by the pool.

The estate also has its own organic vegetable garden, olive groves, vineyards, and resident hens and chickens, so guests can enjoy tasty vegetables and farm fresh eggs, along with olive oil and wine produced on the estate.

Guests enter the impressive residence through a foyer which showcases some beautiful paintings by renowned Italian artists, as well as metal wall art and sculptures.

The estate is comprised of a main villa and a guest house connected via a loggia. The loggia boasts some of the most impressive views of the countryside coupled with stone walls, tile ceilings, a gorgeous fireplace, and hand-forged iron chandeliers.

The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming throughout with many cosy nooks where guests can retreat and unwind. Some of the standout areas include the billiard room, the gym, study and the media room.

There is also a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen complete with working fireplace, as well as a second, well-equipped kitchen in the guest house. Delicious Italian feasts can be prepared in either and served in the elegant dining room, which features a handmade Venetian table and heart-shaped back panel chairs with arabesque inlay and antique leather seats.

At the end of the day, guests can retreat to their cosy bedroom. There are five double rooms all with en-suite facilities, and one twin room with a separate, private bathroom.

La Veduta di Vertine Farmhouse guarantees guests will have a once-in-a-lifetime holiday whilst enjoying the ultimate comfort and tranquility.
