Villa Santa Ana
6 Bedrooms — 12 Guests
A meticulously restored 18th-century estate set within sprawling private grounds close to Menorca’s top beaches
Villa Santa Ana is a beautifully renovated 18th-century villa on Menorca’s rugged south coast, featuring the perfect blend of history and modern luxury. Set within a sprawling estate of over 200 hectares, encircled by dense woodland, it offers true privacy and tranquillity while remaining within walking distance of some of the island’s top beaches.
The estate comprises three separate buildings – Payes House, the Granary, and the Boyera – surrounded by fragrant, Mediterranean gardens and paved terraces. At the heart of the grounds, a sparkling swimming pool beckons. Poolside sun loungers and day beds beneath the shade of trees offer plenty of space for post-swim relaxation. An outdoor kitchen and bar area is perfect for relaxed barbecue lunches, whilst the sunken fireplace lounge is ideal for evening aperitifs as the sun goes down.
The former horse stables have been converted into a gym, fully equipped for those looking to keep up their fitness routine during their stay. Or, for a change of scenery, a winding pathway through the trees leads guests from the villa heights down to the soft, pale sands of the cove.
Inside the main villa, Payes House, guests will find a cool, airy sanctuary. Stone walls and high, beamed ceilings provide a natural reprieve from the midday heat. The decor leans into a Mediterranean palette with whites and creams contrasted with burnt orange, mustard and olive accents in the bespoke furniture crafted by local artisans. There are two spacious lounges, a library, and an elegant dining room adjoining a state-of-the-art kitchen. The main villa also houses one of the master bedrooms.
The property accommodates up to 12 guests across six uniquely designed en-suite bedrooms, each named after a golden Menorcan beach. One master suite with a private terrace is located in the main villa, whilst the second is in the Granary, a charming outbuilding with a private garden. The former barn has been converted into four additional guest suites, each with direct terrace access.
With its expansive grounds, beautifully restored interiors, and easy beach access, Vill Santa Ana is a sanctuary designed to cultivate a deep connection with Menorca’s quiet, rugged soul, without compromising on luxury.

About the area
Villa Santa Ana is located in the resort of Cala en Porter, on Menorca’s southern coast. It is just a short walk away from two of the island’s top sandy beaches, Cala Macarella and Cala Macarelleta, both of which are beautiful shallow coves with calm, clear waters.
Cala en Porter is famous for its “shell-shaped” bay, where towering limestone cliffs protect the water from heavy swells. This creates a natural swimming pool effect, making it a paradise for families and snorkellers. The calm waters surrounding the island are also ideal for kayaking and enjoying scenic boat trips.
Menorca is celebrated for its raw, unspoiled beauty and is designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Camí de Cavalls, an ancient 185 km path that encircles the entire island, is perfect for hiking, horse riding, or mountain biking, allowing visitors to discover hidden beaches that are inaccessible by car.
