The property has been masterfully designed and decorated by one of Venice’s leading architects in collaboration with one of France’s leading interior decorators, drawing inspiration from the work of Carlo Scarpa. The property boasts terrazzo floors, creamy marmorino walls, bronze windows, and amazing marble bathrooms. The property will be every art lover’s delight, as it displays a hand-picked collection of 50’s and 60s furniture from iconic Italian designers and architects including Gio’ Ponti, Gardella, Franco Albini, Caccia Dominioni, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ico Parisi, Fontana Arte, Bruno Gambone and Marcello Fantoni.
From the apartment’s main entrance foyer, guests can access the first Salon Salute which has beautiful gothic windows framing the views. From here guests can access the ample Salon Academia which has views over Dorsoduro and of the Academia. The next one is Salon Peggy which is an elegant dining room for up to eight guests (or more on request) with views overlooking the Guggenheim.
On the other side of the apartment, guests will find the master suite with canal views, dressing room, and en-suite bathroom which is a veritable sanctuary of luxury with the bathtub hewn from a singular slab of marble. There are two additional guest bedrooms, one of them with king size four poster bed, with ensuite facilities including marble bathroom, double sized shower, single basin and heated towel racks, and views onto the Courtyard of the palazzo and the Grand Canal. The other guest bedroom has two single beds, and with ensuite facilities, boasting floor to ceiling marble bathroom, double sized shower, single basin. Additionally, there is a floor to ceiling marble guest WC off the kitchen and entry foyer.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream being equipped with Gaggenau oven and hob, and a full set of utensils a chef or good cook would require for preparing an upscale dinner party. Other amenities included a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
For music entertainment, there is a fully integrated SONOS music system which can be run from an iPhone, and is linked to speakers located in all the bedrooms, the three salons and the kitchen area.
