Chalet Papillon

Set at the base of the Bellevarde slopes, Chalet Papillon offers the perfect blend of convenience and luxury. This beautiful alpine retreat elegantly blends contemporary design with traditional Savoyard character.

Spread across 350 square metres, the chalet accommodates up to 10 guests. It uses clever architecture and design to create the perfect blend between a traditional mountain lodge and a chic modern estate. Throughout the interiors, walls of rich, rustic wood panelling contrast beautifully with contemporary furnishings and clean architectural lines.

The top floor is entirely dedicated to a spectacular open-plan living and dining area. Framed by large, exposed timbers and dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass, the bright space commands impressive views of the surrounding peaks and the pristine ski slopes. This well-appointed living area comprises a cosy fireplace lounge, an elegant wooden dining table, and a second table by the fully equipped kitchen, perfect for casual breakfasts or children’s meals.

Double glass doors from the dining area lead out to a spacious balcony. Here, guests can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening aperitif with a stunning alpine backdrop, whilst savouring the crisp mountain air and the relaxing sound of the Calabourdanne river babbling gently below.

Ideal for families travelling with children and teens, a mezzanine snug above the main living space features plush day beds and a large TV for cosy film nights.

The chalet’s lower-ground floor is dedicated to wellness and relaxation. Guests can warm up in the heated indoor swimming pool with counter-current jets or soothe weary muscles in the steamy hammam.

The chalet sleeps up to eight adults and two children across four beautifully appointed, wood-panelled bedrooms. Each space pairs rustic timber walls with crisp, premium linens and high-end Italian tiled en-suites. The bedroom layout is exceptionally well-suited for families. The ground floor features a spacious family suite, where a double bedroom connects to a cosy children’s bunk room via a “Jack & Jill” shower room. A second double bedroom resides on this level, while the first floor hosts the final two double bedrooms, offering optimal privacy for multi-generational groups.
