An aristocratic castle in the beautiful Montalcino area of Tuscany

Villa Castelnuovo Tancredi represents luxury living spread across 600 hectares of rolling hills in the Montalcino area of the famous Siena region of Tuscany. This exclusive, aristocratic castle has been lovingly renovated and restored, preserving the charm of a historical property dating back to the 1300s.

The property is surrounded by eight hectares of vineyards and extensive groves for oil production. The estate is a model of agrotourism, maintaining the traditional atmosphere created by the stone farmhouses and conserving nature by using organic agricultural methods.

The estate’s grounds feature oak trees, olive groves and vineyards, immersing guests in a true Tuscan landscape. Extensive manicured lawns stretch across the property and guests can enjoy a stunning Italian-style rose garden. Quintessentially Tuscan, the road leading to the estate entrance is flanked by stunning cypress trees.

Guests are able to admire the breathtaking views of the countryside from their own private swimming pool or tennis court. There is a pool gazebo and sun loungers for basking in the sunshine, plus there are various outdoor seating areas and a dining space for gathering family and friends for al fresco meals and barbecues.

Upon entering the castle, guests are welcomed into an entrance hall with a stone fireplace, beamed ceilings and a reception throne that dates back to the 1500s. There are several lounge and living rooms with frescoed ceilings and comfortable seating, along with a dining room with antique fireplace and a large table that can accommodate up to 16 guests. Delicious feasts can be cooked up in the fully-equipped, country-style kitchen.

The sleeping quarters comprise of eight bedrooms spread across the main villa and tower. There are six double bedrooms and two twins, all with en-suite facilities. Moreover, the Tower Bedroom boasts a spacious private living room.

With staff available to cater to guests’ needs around the clock, Villa Castelnuovo Tancredi offers true luxury in the Tuscan countryside.
