Surrounded by vineyards, Villa Gauggiole is an ancient farmhouse that has been transformed into a luxury villa in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. Comprised of a three-bedroom villa and a one-bedroom guest house, the property comfortably sleeps up to eight guests.
A spacious terrace with the al fresco living area overlooks the beautiful gardens and the large, heated swimming pool, flanked with sun loungers and umbrellas.
The villa’s stone walls, traditional beamed ceilings, beautiful textiles, and antiques and are seamlessly brought together with flair, creating a unique and sophisticated ambiance.
On the ground floor of the main house, there is a cosy living room with a fireplace, and an elegant dining area that connects to the fully-equipped, country-style kitchen. There is also a laundry and two powder rooms.
The sleeping area is on the first floor with a master bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, all with en-suite facilities. For those looking for a little more privacy, the fourth bedrooms is located in the separate guest house, which features its own living room, a kitchenette, and two shower rooms.
Villa Gauggiole is one of 11 villas in the 5000-acre Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco estate. The estate offers two restaurants, a cooking school, a fitness and spa complex, tennis courts, a private golf course, and a chapel, all surrounded by 70 hectares of vineyards.
