Costa Brava is the name given to the coastal region of north eastern Catalonia, Spain in the province of Girona. The coastline spans 200 km between the border of France & down to the Barcelona province border. The name means ‘wild coast’ & refers to the rugged beauty & wilderness of the environment. Craggy precipices and hairpin turns, stark mountains set against a cobalt blue sea and pretty fishing villages and towns combine to make this a prime tourist destination for Spain.
It has been home to artists such as Dali, Gaudi & Chagall as well as movie stars such as Elizabeth Taylor & it remains popular with celebrities & film makers.
The Costa Brava offers the magnetic attraction of a vibrant and artistic Barcelona with great beaches, lively resorts, plus a range of golf, yachting, watersports and other activities for visitors to enjoy.
