Nestled in the private estate that covers 680 acres, Son Balagueret has an elevated position on a hill that offers superb views of the Mediterranean Sea. This historic villa has its original turret, dating back to the 13th century, and the small slotted secret windows were once used to signal to similar lookout points in the area to warn of possible attacks. Now, this vacation rental property boasts a sheltered courtyard central to the house, which serves as a perfect spot to unwind and retreat in a cosy corner to lose track of time with a good book. To soak up the warm Mediterranean sun, guests can laze by the private heated swimming pool that overlooks Mallorca’s beautiful northwest coastline. Perfectly complementing the dramatic scenery, the estate has a large and unused historic manor house, or ‘finca’, dating from the mid-1200s.
Son Balagueret is built over three floors, including a quirky turret. The interior space oozes luxurious comfort and elegance, inspired by the stylish, yet very cosy furnishings. The villa can accommodate up to six adults in three well-appointed bedrooms. The sleeping area includes a master bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, plus an additional day bed.
