Time moves differently on a private motu in Bora Bora. The hours don't disappear into emails or errands—they expand, each one holding space for something you'll actually remember.
Here’s what twenty-four hours looks like at Bora Bora One.
The private chef has prepared a breakfast of tropical fruits and freshly baked pastries. As Julio Mevil, the villa manager, explains, “you can dine wherever you like, whether it’s by the pool, in the dining room, or under the stars.” This morning, your private terrace feels perfect.

The exclusive French chef, who previously worked in high-end restaurants, welcomes children into the kitchen. “Children often join him in the morning to make pancakes,” notes the article. He’s very interactive with guests and even offers impromptu cooking classes.

The crystal-clear lagoon invites exploration. Guests can dive in for a snorkelling adventure amongst vibrant coral reefs or take a kayak out to explore the waters.
The villa provides a dedicated activity supervisor for each charter who “thinks of everything and coordinates all bookings needed,” managing activities both on and off the property.

“Head to our beach house for a delicious meal just steps from the water,” Julio recommends. The chef sources fresh ingredients, some from the on-site organic garden where he grows produce for meals.

A path winds through the unusual pandanus forest, leading to the reef side. The dense trees create pockets of shade and quiet. It’s a different world from the beach: lush, green, serene. By evening, when the exterior lighting comes on, this same path transforms completely.

At the infinity pool overlooking the beach, teak chaises and daybeds invite you to do nothing at all. Or there’s the tennis court, built to US Open specifications during the 2019 renovation, where a few guests volley in the heat.
The beach volleyball court sees action too. In the gym, someone’s on the Concept 2 rower, another at the boxing bags.

After the day’s activities, the cold plunge shocks you awake, then the jacuzzi melts everything away. From the oceanfront platform, you can watch the sky start to shift colours. During whale season, you might spot them from here.

The traditional Tahitian structure, the Fare Potee, serves as the evening gathering spot. Someone’s mixed drinks at the bar. The sound system plays something low. Everyone’s watching the same thing: the sun dropping into the lagoon, turning everything gold.

Candles flicker on a table set directly on the beach. The waves provide the only soundtrack. Most guests arrive planning to try the island’s restaurants, but they cancel those reservations after the first night.
The chef’s that good. Tonight’s menu came from a conversation you had with him this afternoon. He remembers everything you mentioned.

The performers have gone. The pool reflects stars now, perfectly still. Mount Otemanu looms as a dark silhouette against the sky. There are no crowds here, no noisy neighbours. Just waves. Just palm trees rustling. Just this: a private motu in Bora Bora, and silence that feels like luxury itself.
Bora Bora One hosts families, couples, groups of friends, and anyone seeking what manager Julio Mevil describes as “luxurious, tranquil, immersive.” It’s a place where a 24-hour professional team ensures every detail is handled, often before you realise you wanted it.
