Villa Arrighi is a charming private villa in offering panoramic views of Reschio Estate and the Niccone Valley on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. At one time, the property served as a watchtower but it now enjoys architectural masterpiece status, thanks to careful restoration.
Every detail at the villa showcases elegance and care. Both the exterior and the interior spaces are ample and have an inviting ambience. Access to the house is via the large paved courtyard which boasts a central water feature. The extensive grounds are stunning, featuring impeccably-tended gardens and manicured lawns. There is also a gorgeous infinity swimming pool, overlooking a vast expanse of the idyllic Italian countryside.
Although the property’s exterior maintains many of its 11th-century Romanesque features, its interior boasts a subtle modern look, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
Spread over three floors, the luxury villa’s indoor living environment is light and spacious thanks to the double-height ceilings in the sitting room and high ceilings everywhere else in the villa.
The ground level boasts a double en-suite bedroom and the communal living area. There is a sitting room with a fireplace, an elegant dining room, and a cloak room adjoining one of the classic Italian kitchens, which will impress guests with its particular arched structural design and modern amenities.
The first floor of the villa features a sitting room with a cosy fireplace and a double-height ceiling. It also has a master suite with en-suite facilities, dressing room and study, plus an en-suite double bedroom.
The second floor has two beautifully-appointed bedrooms, one with an open-plan bathroom, the other with en-suite facilities.
Moreover, there is a guest house a short stroll away from the main villa offering extra privacy. It comprises an en-suite double bedroom, as well as a living room with kitchenette, and a wine cellar.

About the area
Villa Arrighi is situated in the countryside on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The region is known for beautiful countryside reminiscent of landscapes in Renaissance paintings, medieval hilltop towns, wonderful art galleries, museums and architecture, not to mention delicious food and wine.
There are many activities that guests can enjoy on-site including horse riding, tennis, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting. Guests can also dine at the “Osteria” – the estate’s private Italian restaurant – or choose from the in-house menu and wine list for delivery direct to the villa.
Just five minutes’ drive from the property is the quaint village of Mercatale. There are a several towns around an hour’s drive from Villa Arrighi such as Assisi, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia and Siena, all ideal for day trips.
