The property offers complete privacy and tranquillity in the midst of stunning scenery. The expansive gardens feature a large, heated swimming pool, spacious terraces and various outdoor living and dining areas.
The interiors are beautifully-appointed with high beamed ceilings, and wooden or tiled floors, which confer a sense of elegance. When it comes to the decorative elements, the villa features premium furnishings which make the rooms feel cosy and inviting.
The main house has a gorgeous drawing room with sofas set around a cosy fireplace. There is also a separate TV room and an elegant dining room. The dining room leads through to a fully-equipped kitchen, which is a veritable cook’s dream as it features a separate larder and wine cellar.
Within the main house are three well-appointed bedrooms, all on the first floor. The master suite boasts a dressing room, a private study with fireplace, a large en-suite bathroom and a private terrace with direct garden access via a staircase. There is then a spacious double bedroom with en-suite facilities and access to the courtyard, and a twin bedroom with a shower room across the hall, and garden access.
Accessed via the courtyard, the guest house features one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a dressing room, and several storage areas.

Location
Villa Piantaverna & Guest House is set in the heart of the Reschio Estate, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The region is known for beautiful countryside reminiscent of landscapes in Renaissance paintings, medieval hilltop towns, wonderful art galleries, museums and architecture, not to mention delicious food and wine.
There are many activities that guests can enjoy on-site including horse riding, tennis, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting. Guests can also dine at the “Osteria” – the estate’s private Italian restaurant – or choose from the in-house menu and wine list for delivery direct to the villa.
Just five minutes’ drive from the property is the quaint village of Mercatale. There are a several towns around half an hour to an hour’s drive from the property such as Assisi, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia and Siena, all ideal for day trips.
